In my honest opinion this series should’ve taken place during the old republic. Either between the 1000 year war between Jedi and Sith (or the dark age). Having it in the High Republic makes no sense whatsoever since the Jedi shouldn’t know about the Sith.

Truth be told the acolyte shouldn’t take place in the High Republic. I believe it should take in the old republic before the rule of two (even though I know Disney will screw it up)

Ozzel was secretly a Rebel Sympathizer. I believe he had family with Rebellion ties or witnessed the Empire do something terrible. When Vader said, "...failed me for the last time" it is implied that Ozzel has messed up many times before. That is because he secretly screws up to mess with the Empire. By coming out of hyperspace too close he effectively warned the Rebels, gave them time to get shields up and mount a counter offensive, and prepare for escape.

Sadly so lame compared to legends. The Clone Wars is awesome though

There's just no getting around the fact that building a second bigger death star in 4 years was a major plot hole, akin to having teddy bears defeat the 501st. There's no way to rationalize or explain it. It's just poor writing because Lucas felt he needed a MORE BIGGERER super rultra death mega station

Maybe alienating and villifying LARGE swathes of the fanbase isn't the best way to use your reach, Alex and Mollie. Personally I have no great issue with the Ki-adi stuff but the language you use to talk about fans is not helpful and only causes more division rather than unity. It is telling that you would always rather side with a global mega-corporation than real fans of the same franchise as you.

I've not seen episode 4 of Acolyte yet but this did actually surprise the heck out of me. Seriously, I think Clone Wars obsessed people are just way more vitriolic in general. Probably because the Prequels fans had a combination of destruction of the wall of NJO splitting the EU fandom and the prequels broadly decanonizing stuff and the EU fandom in general being so deeply humbled by seeing how *HORRIFIC* many people were to actors from the Phantom Menace. Like, I think the sequel trilogy definitely has stumbled and Disney has spent a while with dumb plots trying to make people go 'see look its ok!!!! It makes sense now!!!' but it has ok bits. I generally don't enjoy that era or those stories and I have trouble feeling like they will keep the impact of the old pre NJO EU, because frankly, I know 14 year olds who talk about the old EU stories after jedi and already call the Disney stuff 'bad' or they just aren't invested in Star Wars, but it could come around. It doesn't really matter in the end. But the vitriol is ridiculous. I got all the hate at Episode 3's chant scene cos, wow, that seen actually made me embarrassed to watch it. It gave me the same feeling as sitting in a room with your mom as some extremely saucy scene is occurring and you eye over to her staring with a deep frown on her face. I don't think I have actually managed to actually feel that deep 'cringe' feeling since like 2007. But lord did I cringe watching that. But it didn't ruin the series for me. It could still develop into interesting things. That entire episode felt like it should have been a 10 minute flashback and it was really badly paced. Buuut... KI ADI MUNDI?!? Wasn't every story ever about him was that he was a jerk who was wrong? WHY ARE PEOPLE OBSESSED WITH HIM? Honestly on my side I'm more mad at an editor calling Selonians 'distinctly feline' on the wookiepedia page because clearly they've seen a alien otter face and gone. "NOT A DOG. THAT MEANS CAT." And ignores all lore in canon, all descriptions, all full body shots that are not a single image of a face, ignores that the only time in Selonian lore we've ever had a contradiction since they were introduced in the mid 90s, including all canon depictions was... SWTOR calling someone a 'sept mother' and referring to their social groupings as a 'family' which the former is I think either a quick fix to a storyline they wrote about a 'den mother' until someone told them that den mothers were fat permanently pregnant and absolutely not warriors and septs are only determined by fathers (As is implied by the real world word) and uh, that its hard to describe 'eusocial social structures' as 'family.' Fun, dumb trivia on a species most people do not care about: I did recently find out the weird appearance change that occurred between the early 2000s and SWTOR is entirely seemingly due to the Rogue Squadron Comics artist clearly copying existing Selonians and going 'so that's the male ones, right?" >makes a hot female ones because they 'run the society' and I'm not a lore nerd and wookiepedia barely exists at this point.' And depicts the former selonian appearance as clear 'males' who are servants and laborers, while clearly female Selonians do all the important tasks, and the 'female' image becomes the SWTOR ones.

One of the saddest parts of Vader's story is that he never found* out how much the Emperor manipulated him since they first met, lying to him about Padme and pretty much everything else too. * I'm sure these things became known to him once he became a force ghost though.

You didn't mention the other Commando's or there Mandolin trainer's Like Omega Squad and Walon Vau also Delta Squad did not first appear in the Clone Wars TV Show they had there own Game Republic Commando I don't care if all of this is Legends now you still need to mention it because like Legends or not it still happened and shouldn't be forgotten.
